We have secured our Field Day site at the Padre Dam administration building parking lot. All that is left is to nail down a few details and secure operators for both day and night shifts. We hope to have a contingent of CW Op’s. We will be setting up on Friday June 21st The set up crew will meet at our storage shed located at the radio towers (12241 Moreno ave lakeside ca, about ½ mile down on the right side of Moreno,, 6 big towers) at 11:00 AM Friday morning June 21 . We will load up, and on the way to the Field Day site, we will stop off someplace for lunch. We'll be at the Field day site for set up at 1:00 PM. Setup will take something on the order of three to four hours. Field Day begins at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 22ed , and runs until 10:59 AM on Sunday June 23rd. There will be hot dogs and hamburgers on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Sunday teardown will begin shortly after 11:00 AM when the station will be taken apart, and components transported back to the shed for storage. We hope to see you at the Padre Dam Administration Building for Field Day.

The Objective of Field Day:

To work as many stations as possible on any and all amateur bands (excluding the 60, 30, 17, and 12-meter bands) and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. Field Day is open to all amateurs in the areas covered by the ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and countries within IARU Region 2. DX stations residing in other regions may be contacted for credit, but are not eligible to submit entries.
